The adventures start after the jump!
Being the foodies that we are, we decided to chronicle our culinary adventures and what we thought about each place where we dined.
We arrived in Charleston pretty late on Sunday night and thus had not done proper restaurant planning. So a very quick Google search late an we were headed to our first culinary destination:
DAY 0: Sunday Evening
Our biggest problem with Hank's was that the prices were high, but the portions were on the small side. Luckily, since it was so late we weren't terribly hungry.
We got back to the hotel with a renewed determination to make sure we did our homework before we had our next meal, So the next morning, we headed off in search of:
Day 1: Monday
Dixie Supply Bakery and Cafe
After that we did a lot of walking, and a couple of hours later we ran into our next place. We decided that it was a good time for a break and a snack so we hopped on in to:
Baked: New Frontiers in Baking for a while, so I couldn't wait to try their pastries. We both got a cupcake and a pastry and they were really good. We even loved the decor of the place. The walls were stacked with pieces of crown molding that ran from floor to ceiling. It gave this really cool stripey feel. The highlight of this trip was the key lime tart. It was very artfully topped with marshmallow and then torched. It really brought out the piping design. See?

Caviar & Bananas
It began to get late and we weren't terribly hungry, so we opted for a light dinner and knew just the perfect place. But a quick glance and we realized that it was getting late... very late. So we floored it and quicklyt arrived at:
Jack's Cosmic Dogs
Day 2: Tuesday
WOW! This post is running very long, so if you want to hear how everything else turned out, join in next time!
